We have the following options for visitors:

Bird cruise:

We put on safety dresses and enter the 20 feet boat “Lynet”. We can go fast or slow, you decide. We go between Small Island and reefs. After ca 5-10 min. we arrive to the bird island in the Barents Sea. The  island itself is overwhelming (so big / majestic) arising up so high from the sea.

The numbers of birds out there are approximately 2.3 million.

Our little friend: Lunde (puffin, papageientauhger, frailecillo, polecinelle de mare) is the main attraction. Every April the 14th it’s coming to stay here in the summertime.

Some of the other birds to see are: The gannet, cormorant, eider, razorbill, guillemot and a lot of sea eagles. On the trip we can also say hello to the many seals that stays on the reefs. If we are lucky we can also see a whale on near distance.

The atmosphere . . . ? You just can imagine.

 

 

Midnight sun cruise:

This is the same concept as the bird cruise. But we are getting the quiet atmosphere from the midnight hour and hopefully the midnight sun will guide us through this memorable cruise.

 

   

 

Taxi boat:

Maybe you want to see Northcape from another angel? Or just a trip with fresh air and catch a fish for dinner? Any destination nearby – no problem.

Gjesvær or Geirsver is the only place in this area named in Snorre Sturlason saga. The Viking-story says that Thore Hund killed Karle, the Kings man, in Geirsver. There was som disagrement about splitting the treasure taken from Russia.

We take a trip and look at some old settlings in the Gjesvær area.

 

Rent a boat:

You can take a trip on your own, just to relax or to fish your own dinner.

You can choice between a rowing boat and a motor boat.
